About Us
The Traditional Voices Group (TVG) is a non-profit 501(c)3 organization with the mission of collecting, documenting and preserving the cultural heritage, musical heritage and traditions that are that are unique to the communities of Yancey and Mitchell counties, in addition to the surrounding areas that are a part of the Appalachian Mountains of Western North Carolina.
